Synopsis
A gracious condo with a dated and bright colour scheme gets a sophisticated overhaul with muted shades of taupe and grey tempered by black accents and a burst of mustard yellow. The look is moody and tailored with a dash of menswear inspired tones and fabrics sprinkled with just the right amount of glamour and femininity to create an uptown personality, yet the comfortable and large scale furnishings still maintain a relaxed atmosphere.
Our Part
The Envy team selected a fresh paint scheme, beautiful drapery and an elegant wallpaper for the entry hall. A custom sofa and recliner were in order to ensure down-time means sprawl-out-time (as the man of the house is over 7 feet tall!) and a luxurious area carpet and accessories bring the whole project home.
The Who and the Where and What They Said
Sherrie Johnston and Derek Talon’s spacious condo is tucked into a Linden Ridge condominium development. The couple moved out of a family home and into the condo to make a space truly their own for their retirement years. They recently purchased a second residence in Arizona and had this to say about their condo, “We love the warmth and feel of our great room; Bahia and Tara gave us so many great options to choose from, always meeting our wishes, needs and ensuring quality which was important to us.”
